Scheduled to be released back in December but was seemingly pushed back for good, the Motorola DROID 4, which comes with a full QWERTY keyboard, is expected to go on sale starting next week, February 9, via Verizon at a price of $199 on a 2-year contract. Sony & AT&T launch the Xperia Ion!
Sony, in partnership with US-based carrier AT&T, launches another member of their first non-SE (Sony Ericsson) phone line-up, the Xperia Ion. This Gingerbread-powered smartphone (but slated to get the ICS update) boasts a ginormous 4.6″ Reality display with 1280×720 HD resolution. It also runs the mobile version of Sony’s Bravia engine under the hood, so we’d probably get the best viewing experience for a Sony smartphone.
