Last January 4, Nokia Philippines announced via their official Facebook Fanpage that the new Nokia Asha 200 has finally landed in the Philippines! The new dual-SIM, dual-Stanby phone is now available in all Nokia stores nationwide, retailing for just Php3,500!
Aside from sporting a Nokia C3-inspired full QWERTY keyboard, the Asha 200 also features a 2.4-inch QVGA display, 32MB of RAM, and 10MB of built-in storage but can be added to another up to 32GB of external memory via microSD.
Running the popular Series 40 platform mostly for entry-level phones, the Asha 200 also comes with Nokia’s Easy Swap feature, which allows to you to conveniently change or swap your SIM cards without actually turning off the phone or removing the battery and personalize or manage up to five SIM cards.
It also supports GPRS and EDGE connectivity that allows you to connect to your friends in different social networking sites. You can even update your status or Facebook or tweet on Twitter directly from your homescreen! How convenient is that?
The Nokia Asha 200 comes out in eight vibrant colors — Graphite, Green, Blue, Aqua, Pearl White, Light Pink, Pink, and Orange.
