Scheduled to be released back in December but was seemingly pushed back for good, the Motorola DROID 4, which comes with a full QWERTY keyboard, is expected to go on sale starting next week, February 9, via Verizon at a price of $199 on a 2-year contract. This is according to the reliable sources of tech blog Droid Life.

As rumors suggest, the DROID 4 is like the Droid RAZR but with a hardware QWERTY keyboard. The Droid 4 will probably pack a 4-inch TFT display with 960 x 540-pixel resolution, a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of built-in storage, and an 8-megapixel camera with 1080p video recording capability.

The DROID 4 was officially announced by Motorola during the CES 2012 event last month. This means, the company, along with Verizon, is just waiting for the “right time” to release the device.
