Announced a month ago, the HTC Sensation XL, which is integrated with Beats Audio by Dr. Dre, has now arrived in the Philippines! With its 9.9-mm thinness and enormous 4.7-inch display, the Sensation XL is undoubtedly one of the biggest smartphones from HTC. It is now available in the local market and has a suggested retail price of Php32,500.
Said to be the Android version of the HTC Titan and the successor as well of the HTC Sensation, the HTC Sensation XL comes with a 4.7-inch Super LCD 480 x 800 display, 16GB of built-in storage, 768MB of RAM, and a disappointing 1.5-GHz single-core processor.
This Gingerbread-powered smartphone includes a 1.3MP front-facing camera and an 8MP rear camera, which can record 720p HD videos. As announced, this will also be getting the latest version of the Android OS, the Ice Cream Sandwich, next year.
I was quite surprised when I found out that this phone only sports a single-core processor, which is quite unusual for a high-end phone especially if it’s just newly launched. Its camera department is disappointing too. Although it packs an 8-megapixel camera, it can only record in 720p and not in 1080p (or full HD) quality.
Again, the HTC Sensation XL with Beats Audio has a suggested retail price of Php32,500 and is now available nationwide!
