Cherry Mobile unveils Candy & Candy Chat, the cheapest Dual-SIM Android phones!

I wasn’t able to attend the Cherry Invasion 11.11.11 event held earlier because of some personal reasons. However, I received an e-mail from Cherry Mobile with the information about their newly launched  products; one of which is the “Dual SIM Smartphone Sweet Treats”.

Cherry Mobile has revealed the cheapest Android smartphones yet — the Cherry Mobile Candy and Candy Ch@t, which are believed to further strengthen the company’s exceptional 3G dual-SIM capabilities in its smartphone collection.

The Cherry Mobile Candy is a full-touch Android phone, which supports WiFi connectivity, GPRS/EDGE and Bluetooth. It packs 256MB of built-in internal storage, 128MB of RAM, 1.3MP of rear camera, 416-MHz processor, and of course, the dual-SIM-dual-standby feature.

Coming out in six different colors (black, blue, red, yellow, purple, and pink), the Candy retails for just Php3,699.

VERDICT

Both the Cherry Mobile Candy twins will definitely give an exciting battle in the local market against the other budget-category phones as they both offer the much-loved Android mobile OS and much-sought WiFi feature. In fact, these phones are the cheapest WiFi phones we’ve seen so far.

Honestly, I’m impressed with what Cherry Mobile‘s doing nowadays. They’re surprisingly offering products that interest us, Filipinos, and/or the local community at very competitive prices, and these phones, the Candy & Candy Chat, are the new living proofs of that.

Here’s the official poster of the Cherry Mobile Candy & Candy Ch@t — Candy phones for all!

Sorry for the huge review, but I’m really loving the new Zune, and hope this, as well as the excellent reviews some other people have written, will help you decide if it’s the right choice for you.

Unfortunately, the Candy Chat doesn't include Bluetooth. This has been confirmed by Cherry Mobile to me via e-mail.

  9. avatar Patrick Joshua Saguinsin says:

I really want to clear this out. Does the Candy Ch@t possess a Bluetooth Function? I'm really into it more than the Candy because Qwerty is more important to me.

  10. avatar Ram Mancelita says:

Would you mind telling us the price of that phone? :)

  11. avatar Erik says:

In my opinion, try Alcatel Handsets instead. I owned an Alcatel Ot-813d and it is amazing.

  12. avatar Ram Mancelita says:

Hi, Joshua. Let's just not expect too much from the Candy since it's just priced cheap. But I believe that it just depends on how the user handles the phone.

  13. avatar Joshua says:

    Matibay ba to?

  14. avatar Ram Mancelita says:

Hello, Ken. Both handsets will be available by late November in all Cherry Mobile stores nationwide.
