BlackBerry Curve 9360 lands in the Philippines!

Research in Motion (RIM) has officially announced today the release of their latest BlackBerry Curve smartphone — the BlackBerry Curve 9360. Find out its specs and suggested retail price after the jump!

Announced back in August along with the other two BlackBerry Curve smartphones (that are expected not to arrive in the country), the BlackBerry Curve 9360 runs the latest BlackBerry OS 7 and is powered by 800MHz processor only.

The BlackBerry Curve 9360 also packs a 512MB of RAM and 512MB of internal storage but supports microSD up to 32GB. It has a 5MP rear camera with LED flash that can record videos in VGA quality only.

Honestly, there’s really nothing special on this phone, specs-wise. Although, it has a nicely-spaced-characters QWERTY keyboard, which is kind of the main purpose of this — to be easy to use.

The newly released BlackBerry Curve 9360, which was announced back in August, has a suggested retail price of Php16,990. It’s kind of higher than I expected; though, there are some online stores selling this at the range of Php14,000-16,000.

I’m not sure if RIM is also selling the white version of the BlackBerry Curve 9360 in the Philippines.
