Research in Motion Philippines has just launched the new BlackBerry Bold 9900 tonight. It will be available in stores nationwide this October 17, 2011. Find out the price of this full QWERTY-cum-touchscreen smartphone after the jump!
The BlackBerry Bold 9900 comes up with a bit small 2.8″ touchscreen display @ 640×480 pixels. It also has the usual BlackBerry QWERTY keyboard plus the optical track-pad. It runs a 1.2-GHz processor and 768MB of RAM. Aside from the 8GB internal storage, it also comes up with a microSD slot.
This smartphone also goes with a 5MP rear camera that can record 720p HD videos. Unfortunately, it doesn’t include a front-facing camera which is quite weird for a newly released smartphone. However, this supports 3G network.
The Bold 9900 is the first-ever smartphone from RIM to run the new BlackBerry 7 OS, which is expected to offer a great QWERTY and touch experience.

The BlackBerry Bold 9900 is priced at Php31,690. Again, this is set to be released in the Philippines on October 17.
